Hidden touchpad in concept cellphone

A cellphone with a touchpad - somehow that isn’t exactly new to me. This concept takes a slider form factor with a touchpad hidden underneath, using handwriting recognition software that translates finger strokes into letters, numbers, and symbols. No idea if the concept has made provisions for a stylus though as the finger is more or less an unrefined manner of getting the message across. Kontron NotePAC Semi rugged notebook

The Kontron NotePAC Semi rugged notebook is one tough nut thanks to its magnesium alloy chassis that is more than capable of handling even the harshest of treatments while you’re on-the-road. The shock mounted LCD ought to go a long way before giving up the ghost, while the hard drive is equipped with a G-sensor to prevent unwanted head crashes that could prove disastrous to your data. Have no fear about using this in the presence of kids thanks to the waterproof keyboard. You also have the option to include a resistive touchscreen and an internap GPS system if your budget and lifestyle permits. Do you think the top dollar paid for such devices are well worth the price? Do you happen to have any stories to share about how a rugged notebook withstood your clumsiness? Fire away in the comments.
