No Touch Display for the Asus Eee Laptop – Official

Asus as announced that there would be no version of its uber-popular Asus Eee with a touch screen. The company considered it at some point (following the iPhone touch everything hype), but concluded that consumers were not asking for this feature on the Eee sub-notebook. Asus Eee site
