
Check out this solar-powered laptop concept that relies 100% on the sun’s rays to keep it going. I don’t know about this idea - laptops are notorious for their high power consumption, and they won’t be able to last too long without being hooked up to a power outlet. After all, you wouldn’t want to work under the sweltering sun, do you? The batteries within are recharged by a wide Solar Panel which is hooked to the computer, where features on the laptop include satellite link GPS, internet access and a satellite telephone. I just wonder how many hours of sunlight are needed to fully charge up the laptop. Hopefully as solar panel technology advances, it will become more efficient and such an idea will be made a reality.
