honrstly I thought that the 8 GB would last longer than the 4 GB, after 4 hours it just dies. I work nights xo I really depend on my music to get me through, I even let it charge all gay while I sleep. S o what's a girl to do?

The device itself is nice, but what good is a nice device when the software screws up your entries?
Specifically: When I attempted to bring in a 30 lesson language audio course it only brought in tracks 1-19, and changed the order of these tracks (11 followed 1 followed by 19) compromising the continuity of the course. I then renamed the courses to a1 b1 c1 etc. to help zune get the proper order. I also broke the 30 lessons into 3 separate folders. Zune still left out 3 or 4 tracks and somehow still managed to screw up the order of the files. Since Zune software doesn't allow drag and drop I couldn't correct the order.
Now here is the really upsetting part. I phoned Zune tech support. After spending about 1/2 an hour with the rep. she said she couldn't help me and would have to transfer me to a higher level of support. That higher level rep. also could not help with the issue. Finally she said the problem was that the material must be copy protected. I asked how then could I bring in most of the tracks but not all. Her final comment was that they only guarantee solutions to problems with songs purchased from Zune and politely got off the phone.
Note, that I had no problem installing the course in my itunes program and transfering it into my Ipod. Itunes does allow drag and drop.

I bought this refurbished Zune after my first one broke. I hope it would be a good deal and it was for the first three days. Now it refuses to turn on. I cannot afford a new one, I just got a bad luck on the draw.
